Our bassets are intelligent, hunt
smart and loving. We have them
playing with our 4.5 lb. teacup
dachshund, cats, ducks, horses and
little grandchildren.
The only time they seem to bare
their teeth is when a momma dog is
guarding her pups or (being a
hound) claiming all the food, their
most favorite thing on earth. We
carefully breed for temperament
and hunting abilities.  But...it is
said..."you don't own a basset, the
basset owns you".

       What's the  difference between
10wks old Beagles and  Bassets?
(hint: the beagle's on the left...the basset's on the
RIGHT, some people get confused  when the basset
is young & similar in color)

Now... don't you feel silly
for asking?
